We are looking for a confident Healthcare Support Worker with a passion for making a difference to others.

Youll be working Part time 30 Hours per week (e.g. 5 days per week), of 6 hour shifts at different times to suit service needs may include days/nights and weekends, to help lead activities in the main service and external social hub) at Cygnet Adarna House, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Must have at least 12 months experience in supporting Adults with Autism and Mental Health.

Cygnet Adarna House is our rehabilitation service for men with mental illness and a secondary diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Supporting nine men, we provide a homely and community facing environment for individuals who are preparing for community life, but need further support to move to more independent living.

Your Day-to-Day

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
• Safeguard Maintain a safe and clean environment for all

• Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives
• An excellent communicator and a good team player
• Sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment
• Helping to empower & support service user independence.
