LS9 8LA Expires in 2 Days

What skills and experience we're looking for

Required as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be based in a Year Office and work in close partnership with one of our teaching Year Leaders, to support and develop the structures and protocols which aid the pastoral and academic progress of our students. Our Pastoral Support Officers provide the first line of communication for our families. The development of this key relationship is strengthened by working with the same cohort of students throughout their 5 year journey. Pastoral Support Officers play a full and active role in the planning, administration and evaluation of key year group events such as parents' evenings, residentials and reward trips along with a multitude of other aspects of the year team intent.

We are keen to receive applications from individuals with an experienced background in administration and office work. Previous employment within a school is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided. Are you a highly efficient individual? Do you pride yourself in being very well organised with a strong attention to detail? Are you keen to utilise these skills to develop a career working within an education setting? If so, we would be interested in hearing from you.

The position is term time only plus 5 days and permanent subject to a 6 month probationary period.

School application forms and further details can be downloaded from the school website. Support staff application forms should be returned to Mrs Stubbs by email.

Closing date: 9am Wednesday 20 August 2025
