Salary: £39,500–£43,500

Join a dedicated team as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) in a specialised hospital supporting people with personality disorders. This full-time role (40 hours per week) includes a rotation of day and night shifts, offering variety and opportunities for professional growth in a recovery-focused environment. What We’re Looking For

  • Mental Health Nurse qualification and a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Post-registration experience in mental health nursing
  • Strong clinical skills, including mental health assessments, risk management, and crisis intervention.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Resilience, emotional intelligence, and calmness under pressure during both day and night shifts.
  • Commitment to person-centred care, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality mental health care to patients with personality disorders in a hospital setting.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor patient progress, and develop, implement, and review care plans.
  • Administer medications safely and observe patient responses, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Build therapeutic, person-centred relationships to support patients’ recovery and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with NMC standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, ward handovers, and clinical supervision.
  • Contribute to a safe, structured, and supportive ward environment.
