We are seeking a dedicated Outreach Tutor to work with KS3 Foundation and KS4 students who need personalised, flexible education. About the Role - Outreach Tutor Halifax, Yorkshire

As an Outreach Tutor, you will support secondary-age students in alternative education and outreach settings across Halifax and the wider West Yorkshire area. Many of these learners have faced barriers in mainstream school, so your creativity, resilience, and adaptability will make a life-changing difference.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored lessons for KS3 Foundation and KS4 students across core subjects

Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs in outreach and alternative provision

Provide 1:1 and small group tuition in flexible settings across Halifax, Yorkshire

Build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and external agencies

Monitor, record, and report on progress to ensure clear outcomes and continued development

Requirements for Outreach Tutor Role

Teaching experience in SEND, SEMH, alternative provision, or similar

Ability to adapt quickly and confidently to different learning environments

Strong knowledge of KS3 and KS4 curriculum

QTS/QTLS is desirable, but experienced unqualified teachers/tutors are welcome to apply

Passionate about helping students overcome barriers to education and succeed
