Hillcrest Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to be based within our Harmony Hub provision. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for pupils with SEND and provide general support in the management of pupils.
The ideal applicant will have:
• Experience with working with or caring for children of the relevant age range in a learning context.
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status or working towards this.
• Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy or willingness to work towards.
• Ability to support children with varying SEND diagnosis and allow them to access learning.
• The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
