The timetable/job plan will be based on 33.65 hours 8.4 clinical sessions per week. Sessions will be based between the sites of St Jamess University Hospital (SJUH) and Leeds General Infirmary (LGI). A further 4 hours/1 session per week is intended for private study, teaching preparation, audit and research. Additionally, an alternate week evening general acute CT list will be incorporated into the fellowship timetable (2 hours plain time, 2 hours premium time = 2.35 hours per week total). The successful applicants will provide a high-quality gastrointestinal radiology service, working closely with the consultant radiologists in this speciality. You will also develop a specialist interest in aspects of gastrointestinal radiology and, participate in the Radiology HST teaching programme. In addition, you will participate in departmental clinical research and audit and assist in the training and supervision of junior medical staff (radiological and other clinicians). The successful applicants will also support the delivery of acute CT sessions as a senior radiologist. Participation in departmental research is encouraged and the post holder will be required to contribute to the departmental journal club and educational meetings.
