Reports to Head of Production
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join our existing
team, on a permanent basis.
This role includes mechanical fitting up of pipe
spools and prefabricated pipework, installation of pipework to boilers and
bench assembly work. This role requires excellent attention to detail and
teamwork.
Responsibilities include:
•
The use
of hand tools & machinery including hand drills, mag drills, grinders, air
tools
•
Safe use
of lifting equipment for moving and fitting large components
•
Working
at heights
•
Safe use
of lifting equipment for moving and fitting large components
•
Maintaining high
levels of health and safety at all times
•
Welding
•
Running copper and mild steel pipework to
drawings
• Hard working and a desire to help the business
thrive
• Ability to work without direct supervision and
quality check own work
• A strong team player with a “can do” attitude and
proactive approach to work
• Keen problem solver
• Excellent communicator
• The ability to demonstrate effective time
management and work to production deadlines
• A willingness to undertake further training with

Salary: Hourly - Paid Weekly - £15.00
Hours: Standard working hours are Monday to
Thursday 07.00 – 17.00 – 4 DAY WORKING WEEK
22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays
(accumulating +1 day for every 3 years of service)
